Farmers Branch Detention Services

The Farmers Branch Justice Center includes a modern jail facility with 14 Detention Officers on staff that have been trained on the techniques of modern jail operations. In addition to supervision of jail operations, the Detention Services Commander is the custodian of property and evidence for the department.

The Farmers Branch Police Department operates a temporary adult holding facility 24 hours each day. The Detention Services Section is responsible for the care, custody and control of all adult inmates who are under arrest.
