The Police Department responds to all alarms in the City of Farmers Branch.

It is a violation of law, punishable by a fine of up to $200.00 for each day a violation exists, to operate an Alarm System without being permitted by the City. Permits are issued through the Alarm Permit Section of the Farmers Branch Police Department.

The alarm permit instructions spell out the procedures, fees, and false alarm fines involved.
