Solid Waste
The Solid Waste Division collects, observes and audits operations at the City’s sanitary landfill, which is located in Lewisville and operated by a private corporation through a Management and Operations Agreement with the City of Farmers Branch. This facility is operated in compliance with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality rules and regulations.
Landfill
The City of Farmers Branch owns the Camelot Landfill where Farmers Branch residents are able to take trash and other debris for disposal, with proof of residency (drivers license, utility bill). The Camelot Landfill is located at 580 Huffines Boulevard in Lewisville. Take I-35E north to Highway 121 (exit 450). Go east on Highway 121 for about three miles then right on Huffines. Hours are 7 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday.
