“The most impressive thing about living in Farmers Branch is the friendliness of its people and their community spirit. The services provided by our city are outstanding. Even after living in Farmers Branch for well over 50 years, our pride in our city continues going strong.”

Photo of Branch CrossingBranch Crossing is the first neighborhood selected for the Farmers Branch Neighborhood Renaissance Program. Located south of Valley View Lane and west of Tom Field Road, the area is bordered by Farmers Branch Lane and the Historical Park to the south and Rawhide Creek to the west.

The neighborhood's unique character is highlighted by mature trees and its proximity to parks and historical areas. The neighborhood is a short walk to basketball courts, tennis courts, playgrounds, a public pavilion and a greenbelt with a walking path and nature area.

Branch Crossing is a vital community, located in the heart of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. The neighborhood is minutes from major freeways, airports, the Galleria shopping center, sports complexes, cultural and business centers and the Brookhaven Country Club, which offers three 18-hole golf courses, an award-winning racquet club for tennis enthusiasts and many social and recreational opportunities. Branch Crossing is served by the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District. High school children are eligible to apply for the R.L. Turner High School Academies for Biomedical Professions and Media Arts & Technology.

The Farmers Branch Neighborhood Renaissance Program initiative was introduced in late 1997. In the spirit of the program's public and private partnership, city leaders and neighborhood residents met regularly to discuss program plans and progress. The forum gave residents an opportunity to offer suggestions and provide feedback to help shape their community.
