Duties

The City created the Industrial Development Corporation:

  • For the special purpose of promoting and developing commercial, industrial and manufacturing enterprises and encouraging employment generally through the issuance of industrial development bonds
  • The Corporation is authorized to issue industrial development revenue bonds after approval by the City Council
