Farmers Branch welcomes the DART Light Rail Green Line to Farmers Branch Station. To complement the station, the City of Farmers Branch has diligently been working to create partnerships with developers to assist the City in creating a town center served by DART light rail transit.
This town center will be a vibrant transit-oriented development with urban style, mixed-use projects. The vision for the area is a mix of retail stores and shops, restaurants, personal and professional services, offices and dense residential uses. In a transit-oriented development, daily activities are conveniently integrated in a place that encourages people to walk, bicycle and use transit.
