The City Council approved new zoning and a conceptual
development plan for approximately 29 acres of property fronting
the LBJ Freeway between Webb Chapel Road and Josey Lane. Provident
Realty Advisors, a Dallas-based commercial developer, recently
purchased the properties with the intention of redeveloping the
existing garden office campus into a commercial mixed-used
development that would include a substantial amount of retail
development. The Concept Plan shows approximately 306,000 square
feet of commercial space and includes extensive landscaping and
screening walls along the northern edge of the property to buffer
the existing residential neighborhoods.
