Grab the gang and come
on out Saturday, May 17th,
9 til 11:30 am. The creeks and pond at Gussie Field
Watterworth Park, right next to City Hall, will be
brimming with over one ton of farm-raised catfish and
home-style fun. Kids, you can use your own bait and
tackle, or borrow ours to bring in the big one!
There’ll be plenty of additional fun with a catch and
release fishing tank -where you can see the catfish up
close. Other
activities include bounce houses, children’s activity
zone, Critterman with his wild animals, free rose give
away and much more! We’ll
have prize give aways all morning and an awards ceremony
at 11:30 am, but you must register at the pavilion and you
must be 16 or under to participate in this special
children’s event.
Remember kids, have your
parent or guardian sign your registration form, grab your
lucky fishin’ hat and head over to Fishin’ Fun at
Gussie Field, Watterworth Park on May 17th, from 9am to
11:30am.
Volunteers will be on
hand for assistance and concessions will be available.
