Dedicated on December 7, 2007, Farmers Branch Liberty Plaza is designed to be a place of remembrance, reflection and celebration of American heritage.

The first, and most prominent, feature of Liberty Plaza is one of the largest U.S. flags in Texas. Measuring 30 by 60 feet and flying atop a 150 foot pole, this magnificent banner professes patriotic pride while serving as a visual entryway to Farmers Branch that can be seen for miles. With the advent of technology, a 24-hour webcam now offers Internet viewers the opportunity to see the Stars and Stripes over Liberty Plaza from anywhere in the world.

Future development of Liberty Plaza will include a walking trail, a meditation area, public art, a water feature and much more. Liberty Plaza is located at 12800 North Stemmons Freeway, just south of the Dr Pepper StarCenter. For more information, call 972-247-3131.
