A.1     Discuss regular council meeting agenda items.

 

A.2     Discuss Advisory Board Requests.

 

A.3     Discuss user fees in the Parks and Recreation Department.

 

A.4     Discuss employee health insurance bids and options.

 

A.5     Discuss City finances.

 

A.6     Discuss logo for the new West Side elevated water storage tank.

 

A.7     Discuss meeting dates for October City Council meetings.

 

 

 

The Mayor announces that Council will convene into Executive Session. The meeting will reconvene into General Session after the items have been discussed in the Executive Session to consider any necessary action. Texas Government Code Chapter 551 of the Open Meeting Law provides that such items as personnel matters, land acquisition, and pending and contemplated litigation may be discussed in closed session.

 

         Executive Session

 

B.1     Discuss land acquisitions - Texas Government Code Section 551.072.

 

Discuss sale, trade or leases of City-owned property or acquisition of property located in the area known as Old Farmers Branch.

 

B. 2    Discuss pending and contemplated litigation - Texas Government Code Section 551.071.

 

Discuss Property Maintenance issues relative to the Commons at Valwood.

 

 

 

The Council reconvenes into General Session.

 

C.1     Consider necessary action on items discussed in the Executive Session.

 

C.2     Adjournment.

 

  

 

City Hall is wheelchair accessible. A barrier free entry is available at the main entrance of City Hall with specially marked parking spaces nearby. The Council Study Session Room is accessible on the second floor of the City Hall, to the left side.  Requests for language interpretation or other special services should be received three (3) working days prior to the meeting.  Such requests can be made to Mrs. Cindee Peters, City Secretary at (972) 919-2503.
