A.2 Discuss Advisory Board Requests.

A.3 Discuss and review the City's financial status, revenues, expenditures, projects, balances, budget goals and objectives, and issues related to the 2002-2003 mid-year budget, future city budgets, and long-range planning activities.

A.4 Discuss status of the improvements to the public safety radio system.

A.5 Discuss status of environmental cleanup efforts at the former St. Stephens Dry Cleaners site located at 2788 Valwood Parkway.

A.6 Discuss legislative issues.

A.7 Discuss the Spring/Summer Council meeting schedule.

The Mayor announces that Council will convene into Executive Session. The meeting will reconvene into General Session after the items have been discussed in the Executive Session to consider any necessary action. Texas Government Code Chapter 551 of the Open Meeting Law provides that such items as personnel matters, land acquisition, and pending and contemplated litigation may be discussed in closed session.

B.1 Executive Session

Discuss land acquisitions - Texas Government Code Section 551.072.

Discuss sale, lease or trade of real property in Branch Crossing at 2655 Mount View Drive.

Discuss economic development - Texas Government Code Section 551.087.

Discuss Economic Development Incentive and Sales Agreement with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company concerning two tracts of land north of Valley View Lane and on the east side of Denton Drive.

Discuss pending and contemplated litigation - Texas Government Code Section 551.071.

Discuss pending litigation relative to Anthony Anderson, et al, vs. The City of Farmers Branch, Texas, Cause No. 0207695.

Discuss status of environmental cleanup efforts at the former St. Stephens Dry Cleaners site located at 2788 Valwood Parkway.

The Council reconvenes into General Session.

C.1 Consider necessary action on items discussed in the Executive Session.

C.2 Adjournment.

City Hall is wheelchair accessible. A barrier free entry is available at the main entrance of City Hall with specially marked parking spaces nearby. The Council Study Session Room is accessible on the second floor of the City Hall, to the left side.
