A.3 Discuss funding request by Sister City Committee for air travel for a teacher going to Germany.
A.4 Discuss funding request by Brookhaven College Center for the Arts.
A.5 Discuss City Council meeting dates in May.
A.6 Discuss adjustment to the municipal access line charges for telephone service.
A.7 Discuss Regional Rail Corridor Study.
A.8 Discuss the IH35E improvement project from IH635 to SH121.
A.9 Discuss status of environmental cleanup efforts at the former St. Stephens Dry Cleaners site located at 2788 Valwood Parkway.
A.10 Discuss legislative issues.
A.11 Discuss Community Meetings held on March 25 and March 27, 2003.
The Mayor announces that Council will convene into Executive Session. The meeting will reconvene into General Session after the items have been discussed in the Executive Session to consider any necessary action. Texas Government Code Chapter 551 of the Open Meeting Law provides that such items as personnel matters, land acquisition, and pending and contemplated litigation may be discussed in closed session.
B.1 Executive
Session
Discuss land acquisitions - Texas Government Code Section 551.072.
Discuss sale or trade or leases of City owned property or acquisition of property located in the area known as Old Farmers Branch.
Discuss economic development - Texas Government Code Section 551.087.
Discuss Economic Development Incentive and Sales Agreement with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company concerning two tracts of land north of Valley View Lane and on the east side of Denton Drive.
The Council reconvenes into General Session.
C.1 Consider necessary action on items discussed in the Executive Session.
C.2 Adjournment.
City Hall is wheelchair accessible. A barrier free entry is available
at the main entrance of City Hall with specially marked parking spaces nearby.
The Council Study Session Room is accessible on the second floor of the City
Hall, to the left side. Requests for
language interpretation or other special services should be received three (3)
working days prior to the meeting. Such
