Welcome to the City of Farmers Branch action center for Property Standards.

With the new tracking software we are able to filter your concerns to the appropriate Code Enforcement Officer even when they are in the field.

The following action center will take you through 4 steps.

First step will be to pick a general category or topic of concern such as graffiti, fences, trash or yard conditions.   There are currently 12 categories to select from.

Second step is to narrow down the choices such as “missing fence pickets.”  Each general category has several subcategories to select from.

Third step is to fill out the location information.  The exact address will work or just the street name.  Additional location information can be typed in the top box on the right, additional comments or information such as “missing fence pickets along the back” can be typed in the bottom box on the right.

The last step is information that we need to contact you if you would like to speak with or receive and email from the Code Enforcement Officer once they have looked for the problem.  It is not necessary to fill in any of this information.  All complaints will be investigated regardless of how we receive the information.  If information is provided we will attempt to keep this information confidential but it may be required to be released if an open records request is filed. 

Once you are done, click on the submit button.   The information will be automatically sent to the Code Enforcement Officers.
