Why didn't the Green Grabber pick up my items?

The Green Grabber doesn't pick up everything! Follow these steps to make sure your items get picked up:

  • ONLY put out brush during brush weeks. Do not mix anything, including wood boards, fencing, or pallets with brush. Click here for more information.
  • ONLY put out bulky items during bulk week, which is the first full week of the month.
  • Separate brush and bulk items; bulky items are only collected during the FIRST FULL WEEK of the month.
  • Make sure no vehicles are blocking access to material.
  • Don't stack material underneath or too close to a tree, utility pole, fence, or other structure.
  • Construction or demolition material (from residential projects ONLY) must be placed in containers, such as a Bagster.
  • Mixed or small items and paper products must be put in trash bags for regular garbage collection.
  • Bagged leaves or grass must be put out with regular trash.
  • Do not tie brush together.
